The governing structure for the Dakota Association for College
Admission Counseling is divided into three sections, that of Dakota ACAC
itself and two state councils. The Dakota ACAC Board oversees the
annual conference and activities related to the National ACAC, such as
Government Relations, Human Relations and Professional Development. The two state councils oversee activities taking place within North
Dakota and South Dakota, such as the annual College Fairs, publications for
high school students and the membership and various workshops and special
programs. For further details on these specific activities, go to
one of the state council pages.

National Association for College Admission Counseling

Dakota ACAC is a chartered regional affiliate for the
National
Association for College Admission Counseling. The national
association conducts an annual conference, tracks government relations
issues affecting college admissions, develops ethical guidelines for
dealing with high school students in the admission process and encourages
